The salvage team from SMIT reports this morning that the parbuckling of ‘Rocknes’ has been rescheduled due to extra technical preparations. Originally the team had hoped to start parbuckling the vessel during the night of 23 and 24 March.

Currently, divers are performing final inspections. The team now expects to be able to start this Friday.

Yesterday the vessel’s ballast tanks were filled with either air or water. This has already caused the vessel to lift slightly.
